Mount Lougheed

Mount Lougheed can be seen just east of Canmore, Alberta.

It is part of a chain of mountains that run from Exshaw through to Canmore and end up in Banff.

From the east, they are Mountain Lougheed, The Three Sisters, Ha Ling, The Rundle Range, and finally ending in Banff with Mount Rundle. I took a photograph for this painting early one morning at sunrise. Ha Ling was originally named Chinaman’s Peak.
