Mount Assiniboine is in the southeast corner of B.C. There is a lake at the base of the mountain called Lake Magog. My friend Eddie wanted to see it and stay in the Mt. Assiniboine Lodge. So I arranged it, and we flew in by helicopter from Canmore, Alberta. I took a picture of it early one morning and eventually painted it.
