Mt. Chephren is one of the most impressive mountains you can see while driving up the Icefield Parkway. It rises 1600 vertical meters above Waterfowl Lake.
There is a campground at Waterfowl Lake, and I camped there one night and awoke to this beautiful scene which I photographed and later did this painting from it. It is one of my favourite mountains.
